Sirolumus, g-GT and Lipase

Sirolimus

The Hunter Area Health Service is pleased to announce the availability of serum Sirolimus in-house testing effective immediately.

Sirolimus is an immunosuppressant used predominantly in the transplant setting, particularly renal transplant.

This test will currently be done a weekly basis on Thursdays. The cost will be approximately $100.00 per test. This charge and frequency of testing will be revised in six month's time depending on the number of tests requested.

Reference Ranges

Due to new instrumentation, the serum g-GT and Lipase reference ranges have been adjusted to:

g-GT	Males: < 55 U/L Females: < 38 U/L
< 285 U/L	< 285 U/L
